2 The Crofts is
a traditional large Victorian terraced house, situated in a quiet location
on the edge of the village of Corbridge where you will receive a very
warm welcome.
Only one room is
used for guests, so they are guaranteed individual attention as well
as peace and quiet. The four star rating is your assurance of high standards
at all times.
Corbridge is a lovely
village in the Tyne valley dating from Roman times when a supply fort
was built for Hadrian's Wall and the church dates back to the sixth
century. Take time to explore and then relax in one of the pubs or coffee
shops. There are several speciality shops, where you will find goods
out of the ordinary.
2 The Crofts is
just ten minutes walk from the village centre, overlooking woodland
and fields. Transport links are excellent whether you wish to go north
to Hadrian's Wall and the Border Reiver Country, west to Hexham, east
to Newcastle and the coast or south to Durham.
Breakfasts feature
local produce wherever possible and home-made bread to set you up for
the day. Home-made Bircher Muesli is a speciality and special diets
can be catered for with notice.
Guests can also
store bikes, boots and coats ready to explore the surrounding area.
