Carraw
Bed and Breakfast, as featured in the Guardian, is situated on the foundations
of Hadrian’s Wall, part of the Roman Empire Northern frontier,
and only 2-3 minutes walk from the Hadrian’s Wall Path National
Trail. We are approximately 3 miles from Hadrian’ Cycleway and
offer excellent south facing views across Northumberland National Park
and the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. From here
you can stay and be as relaxed or as active as you like, but you are
assured a friendly welcome.
The
accommodation, consists of four south facing first floor letting rooms
Chesters, Brocolitia, Housesteads and Vindolanda, offering a range of
options including two family rooms. All rooms offer en-suite facilities
with modern efficient showers (and some with baths), bathrobes, hairdryers,
tea and coffee making facilities with full hospitality trays, remote
control colour televisions and a supply of toiletries just in case things
get forgotten
To
set you up for a good start to your day we will serve you with a hearty
Carraw breakfast, served in our dining room filled with the aroma of
fair trade coffee, served in cafetieres, and fair trade tea, served
in china teapots.

not end your day with a evening meal at Carraw Bed and Breakfast. Our
meals are specially prepared from the finest local ingredients, purchased
to ensure freshness, quality and flavour therefore we require 24 hours
notice.
We
are fully licensed; offering a range of locally produced bottled beers
and lagers, a range of wines, champagne for that special occasion, as
well as a selection of spirits.
