Hill View Cottage has been lovingly restored retaining many of the cottages original features such as the inglenook fireplace and wooden doors in the living area to the cast iron fireplace in the main bedroom. Judith and Ian and their family use this cottage as their second home and it is a much loved property.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms upstairs, one double and one with bunk beds. It can comfortably sleep 2 adults and 2 children or 4 adults if they do not mind using a bunk bed. The living area downstairs has two two seater sofas and a dining table seating 6.

For the comfort of all our guests non smokers are preferred, but there is strictly no smoking allowed in the cottage. Also, no pets.

There is a small but fully equipped kitchen downstairs and also a large shower room with toilet and sink. There is a very nice patio area at the rear of the property with table and seating for 4 people.

The location is unbeatable. It is adjacent to a 16th century Church and opposite “Off The Wall” Art Gallery.

You can walk to all the local amenities, shops, cafes not to mention the restaurants and bars. There is also an array of food shops, such as Butchers, Bakers, Ridleys Fishmongers and Fruit and Vegetable Shop in case you do decide to cook.

If you want to venture a little further Northumberland has much to discover, quaint villages, stunning seaside towns and tranquil countryside. It is ideal for walking, cycling or ambling around.
