Printmakers
- a small printmaking
studio at The Hearth Arts Centre in the village of Horsley. Artists,
Rebecca Vincent and Carol Nunan, make and sell original and limited
edition handmade prints. They also teach printmaking over weekends and
extended four day workshops throughout the year in a wide variety of
printmaking media to make a great alternative creative break. They have
teamed up with local B&Bs for suitable accommodation nearby. Courses
are suitable for a wide range of age groups and abilities.

Horsley Printmakers
is one of eight
artists' studios based at The Hearth Arts Centre, a converted 17th century
manse and 19th century schoolroom ten minutes west of Newcastle and
Gateshead off A69 roughly half way between Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Hexham
where there is also an excellent coffee shop.
Opening Hours:
We run flexible hours so we recommend phoning in advance unless you
are happy to try pot luck. There is usually someone in the studio most
days Monday to Friday and some weekends.
The studio opens
for special
events such as at Easter, The Art Tour in June and July and Christmas
Open Studio weekend in November. Our website will give details of the
upcoming events.
